So here we are! Fabulous Friday Fitness Challenge time. The cooler weather here in California combined with a Fund Run at my kiddos school has inspired this weeks challenge. Do something active with your family, some friends, your coworkers or even your neighbor. Women are social creatures who generally enjoy company so grab a buddy and be active for 30 min or more!
IDEAS to inspire you:
- Invite a co worker to walk during your lunch hour
- Ride bikes with the kids after school
- Ask a neighbor to walk with you after work
- Do pushups and situps with your hubby in the living room *wow him with your form
- Dust off those roller blades & get rolling
- Head to the mall with a friend, and do at least 2 laps before stopping to shop
- Find a Friday evening group class at the gym
- Play Outdoor Challenge or some other active Wii or PlayStation game WITH your kids
- Draw a hopscotch & show 'em how it's done (or use painters tape on the floor inside)
- Jump rope. try a criss cross or have two people swing for you *Bet the old tunes about lollipops and boys come to mind
- Take the kids to the park and chase them around the jungle gym or try the monkey bars
- Check out that local trampoline place
